i just went to my dealer today and bought a 2003 white z400 for 5458.92 with tax title and regestration. Im so siked. Im picking it up tomorrow at noon. Im only 15 and i was able to spend my own money that i earned to buy it myself. also what type of oil should i use in it?

Use oil that is certified to the level specified in the manual (I think it's SF and SG rated).

I just use cheap-o 99 cents/quart Mobil 10w-40 since we have to change the oil so much.

 

That's really cool. I'm 18, and bought mine last Thursday. That's really impressive you spent your own money, good for you.

She's been on one ride and it was great. Can't wait to have it broken in. Probably go riding again next weekend!

 

Great atv but just one question.Why you get a new 03 for the same price you could have goton an 04 model?

 

yeah i was gonna ask that, how come you got a 03 for what you could have gotten a 04 for. actually i was quoted at 4995 for a 04 Z400. i live in michigan tho. but i got the 04 pred for 5500

 

OTD (tax, title, etc) for my Z was $5700 (but that included a helmet and goggles) so his price doesn't seem so bad.
