What are the best mods you can do to a Lt230?
Give me some ideas i got the money to spend.$$$

 

the 230 quad sport is a good bike that does not need alot of mods to be a good bike, just make sure you have good tires, keep up on the maintinance, put a good performance air filter and pipe it if you want a little more gusto, it is a very quick quad stock, the light weight of the machine makes it very snappy to ride on the track or trails

 

If you wanna go ***** to the walls:
-Wiseco piston Kit
-Webcam midrange cam
-crmoly valve springs
-K&N
-DG rcm + headpipe
-Fourstroke tech oil cooler
-then go with 20" RAZRs or Holeshots
-12-39 gearing (bout 60mph)
It'll haul, trust me. Done right, it'll stay even with a Scrambler 500, and he'll be steamed

 

quadsport freak where might i find all those mods i alrdy borded it out to a 250 and a cobra exhaust and jetted what else should i get and where shoudl i get them? thanks

 

where can i get the springs. and how much does it cost.

 

with the mods that i alrdy have on it the board out to a 250 new dg krome power exhaust jetted and k&n airfilter if i put on the 12 39 gearing will i hit 60?

 

Webcam makes the crmoly springs, and Four Stroke Tech makes the oil cooler, instead of making the mistake like i did, just go with the stage 1 cam, and with the cobra pipe, you may hit 60 or darn close. With my Alum DG RCM and k&n, no jet kit, i hit 55mph.

quad sport freak ,your a wise man!i did those mods on my 86 and that thing ripped for a 230.back to the mods ,you must cover all aspects airbox,filter,high compression piston,fast off-road cam(not the high rpm one),better valves,free flowing exhaust,run nothing but 93 or better.good luck keeping front wheels down in third gear!i also like the 10 dollar mod-drop one tooth on front sprocket,you will lose top speed but you want to climb big hills now dont you? im out[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

the mods i am going to do are cam but i dont know wich one to get, k&n filter, oil cooler and where can i find a high comp piston. also with the cams i am going to be doing alot of hillclimbing and going to the sand dunes what would work best for me. and the springs on web cams seems a little high where can i find some diffrent ones.
