Are those what you have available to use, or are going to get. If you already have them, then it is a tough choice. I really like the PWK. If you are going to get a carb, try to get a 36 or 38 pwk.

I have a 38mm Mikuni Flat Slide, and it works great. And yes, it does make a big difference, especially if you do get P&P in the future.

I would stick with the Keihins. I use to run Mikunis, but got tired of them leaking. Also, I think Keihins have a better "Snap" to the throttle

The 38mm Mikuni works real good on mine too. It screams from start to finish, nice and smooth powerband. You also can get them for 50$ or so on Ebay.

How does the 38 pwk fit on the intake side boot is it hard to get on? The intake side on a 38pwk measures 46mm I'm running a 34 PJ right now that measures 41 mm and it a tight fit on stock boot w/boysen rad cage. Also will the 38PWK Airstriker work well or do you need alot of p&p work to run I want to go bigger with a new carb but dont want to over kill.
Thanks

If you are going to Port and Polish your motor in the future dont screw around with those little carbs get a Keihn 39mm PWK and be done with it 38 PWKs are good too PJ's are junk
MIKUNIS ARE JUNK they bog if you do any type of racing like for instance MX or SX it cant take the whoops and big jumps you could use a PC RACING carb vent system but that only works a little.

All the PWK are great, you just need to match the carb size to your engine capability. I just got a 36 that I am going to try. I am currently running a 35
