New carbs cost a grip, somehwere between $150 to $250. The best bet is to go to Ebay. You can get just about any size carb for under $100. I bought my 35 brand new on Ebay for $75 and the 36 I paid $52

The carbs on new bikes have an electrical hookup. Maybe an electric choke. My 36 came from a early 90's kx125. Look for carbs from around pre-98 kx. They are pwk 35-38 carbs.

MIKUNIS ARE JUNK they bog if you do any type of racing like for instance MX or SX it cant take the whoops and big jumps you could use a PC RACING carb vent system but that only works a little.
Thats not true, I have a mikuni and beleive me it can take the whoops fine. also i jump it a lot(80ft) Maybe you just had a bad one(or maybe you never had one).
