** A note to all.**
I bought the cheapest one just incase I broke it. It has held up well for almost 300 miles. It will read up to about 58 MPH. And has had a little moisture in it but still works. When it dies I will install a better, waterproof unit, maybe $19.99

Hey thats kind of trick. Ive been using bicycle speedos for a couple of years and they are very durable and accurate. The only problem I have is when switching to the faster quad it doesnt Read above 65mph. It doesnt seem to affect accuracy much because really how much time does one spend going above 65. They are valuable for keeping track of fuel mileage and oil change intervals.

Thanks Steve for hosting the pics. I worked at bicycle shops for years. I have been ask to put a speedo on just about everything.
(Wistech) Yep, that's the main reason I rigged one up..How for before I'm out of gas?.............

Walmart has the Hot wheels and a Bell brand. A bike shop would have a better unit. (water proof/better speed pick-up. You just need to make sure the base on the pick-up is some what flat to make it easier to mount.
