wow thats a really good idea i might have to try it. so basically u out the speed reader thing where the rear sproket is

Yep, that's it. Your basicly mounting the magnet for the pick-up on you rear sprocket. Most have a slot cut in the head where a small screw holds it to a spoke.

OK... I should move it to the tech section. I' ll post a note in a day or two. I need to create some http or get a host for the pics.
I have a new one on my work bench for my grandsons polaris 50.
