LT250R HEAD TROUBLE??????

ok so i just rebuilt quad few weeks back ran it maybe 4 hours i started the other day started ridding it and it was smoking very bad and it smelt like antifreeze so i figured cuz the firts time i ran it just down the driveway afte ri rebuilt it i only put lil bit of antifreeze in it so i figured i might hav emessed up head gasket so i put new one on and before i could even get gas tank on i saw some antifreeze seepen out of the head between the gasket and head i am very very very confused as to as why and suggestions would be nice it is a 86 by the way

thats what i am thinking i didnt get torque specs but would over tighting it cause it to leak cuz it didnt leak on the outsid ebefore anyone know the torque specs on that thanks

you should always torque your head and cylinder, the stuff is aluminum and must be tightened down evenly or bad things can happen.
You can get away with out torqueing if you are lucky, some people do it all the time.
A torqure wrench is a good tool for the tool box if you plan on doing any work yourself may as well do it correctly.
All the torque specs are in the manual.
