I think all these companys delibrately leak secret info about upcoming models to both judge reaction and build anticipation. I might wait for a model that isn't out yet instead of buying a competitors existing model, just on rumor.

We KNOW Suzuki has a new 450 four stroke MX bike. This is not the DRZ-400 motor, but an entirely new, lighter weight design. We KNOW they are working on a quad version, and can assume it will be out in the next year or so. Doug Gust's remark in Dirtwheels gives us a pretty good idea that it is not going to be out right away, but maybe should be. I think it is a pretty good bet that we will see it by summer 2005.

 

They should make a 450cc engine and put it in the z/kfx/dvx frame with reverse but add a kick start for back up.

well only in stcok form the z400 gets beat but in moddified form, it rules. Doug Gust got 4th in round 1 and 1st in round 2. there were all yfz's and 2 450r's and Doug was the only one on a Z

I've heard from a couple of sources that it will be coming out in the Summer of 2005. The 450 dirtbike will be released overseas this summer, so that gives Suzuki a year to get the Z450 done...I hope.

 

My source said late fall and this guy is well known in the professional quadracing sport and I am not talkin about Digger Doug. This guy doesn't race but he does fabricate many parts for the quad industry......AND NO its not Gary Denton but I think he helped in the developement.
