I was thinking of selling my quadracer. I was looking at ebay to see what they were bringing. They arent bringing crap. Mine is got thousands$$$ of mods on it. I will keep it before I would let it go at those prices.

Ebay is not a place to sell vehicle unless you have something really special.

Even though you got thousands of dollars into this thing, if you want too much for it nobody is going to buy it. Just take what mods you can spare and put on the stock/factory option and sell the quad and seperatly sell the parts through the newspaper or ebay. That is a smart idea, my freind sold his truck and did just that and he ended up making more money than his truck went for. It may take a while, but that would be the smartest thing i can think of. From what I've seen prices range like this

88-86's are worth between 1300- 1500
87-90's are worth between 1500-1800
91-92's are worth between 1800-2200.

Of course these are in running decent condition.
Something that has tons and tons of mods and really looks nice may go for a bit more... I don't think more than 2700 though.

I'd easily pay 2 grand for a 91-92 that is a low hour stock machine. I think a real low use and clean looking stock machine is almost as desirable as a nicely modded one.

I paid 1900 for my 92 lt.... came with the title too. It had all the mods done to it I have listed already.... I only added the supercooler. If you add up all the parts plus powdercoating its like 1800 just for that stuff. I got a good deal.... well not really that good. The second I took it home the headgasket blew cause the idiot that had it before me still hasn't discovered what a torque wrench is... stripped out the brand new from suzuki cylinder. A good machine shop fixed it for me. The piston was slightly overheated from the head gasket blow and one of the rings was a little sticky so i replaced the whole top end to be safe. The powervalve is also not actuating but im gonna have a friend fix that for me. Im into the bike for like 2050 now.

Yeah, I live in NY too and right now there being purchased for less than $2,300
no ones wanting to pay more or willing to pay more than about $2,000. It's a shame cause
all moded up your saving them from doing all the work. It should go alittle higher than 2,
but people just aren't grabbin at the full blown moded prices above 2 grand.
