Don't use ebay as a way to judge somethings value most people who sell things like quads and cars on ebay are trying to get more than its worth MANY EBAYERS KNOW THIS AND DON'T BID HIGH. I looked at a quadracer 1986 lt250r. Looked immaculate in the picture..... needed minor work and came with an extra motor and manual and light. The guy said it ran great and beat a stock banshee. I drive like 50 miles with my 2000 blaster in the back (was gonna trade him) and wow... the thing that looked so nice in the pics iS a piece of junk. All flat tires hasn't run in years would not start.... wouldn't even pull start after he pulled me with a utility quad at like 30 MILES per hour....lol I was ready to click buy it now for 1400 when I saw the pics.... thank god I didin't. Even had the wrong rear shock on it... I couldn't get it to budge. Anyway someone clicked buy it now and got ripped... cause i checked to see if their was a buyer. Besides most people who have something that runs and looks good in person advertise in the newspaper because they want a local buyer to come look at it and see how nice it really looks and rides. Ive only sold junk that doesn't run on ebay with a very low starting bid and see how people will take it up. Anything that is nice like my lt would be put in newsday!!! People pay more money on ebay for junk than they do for something nice. Someone would pay 900 bucks for a junk lt that looked bad an didn't run or is a basket case and wouldn't even consider paying 1800 for a mint one that is fully restored....lol... I see it all the time and laugh.
MOST PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO RESORT TO EBAY TO SELL LIVE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE WHERE YOU COULDN'T SELL A DOLLAR FOR 50 CENTS...HENCE ALL THE QUADRACERS BEING SOLD FOR CHEAP.... THESE SELLERS ARE HOPING SOMEONE WILL BUY IT FROM NY or NJ or MA AND PAY TO HAVE IT SHIPPED... THEN THEY WILL GET TOP DOLLAR.... just cause we are from New york and got money doesn't mean we are stupid and therefor the chances of someone meeting the reserve and paying the shipping are unlikely.
