I didn't realize I was talking about my Eiger. I thought the discussion was Scrambler vs Vinson.
Eiger is kind of a wacky name, but I'd rather take a garden tool into the woods than a plate of eggs.

The "scrambler" name has been around since the late 80's with Polaris' first 3 wheeler. It is a name thta they have kept in the company, and I like it. I could care less what others have to say, they are just haters

It's been said before, but Polaris riders always seem so defensive.
The only Polaris I've ever ridden was a 250cc 2wd something or other. I didn't like it. I just don't like automatic transmissions. I've never even liked Polaris snowmachines. I'm personally biased, so are you. Who cares. I suppose as long as YOU like Polaris you can buy and ride all you want! I also don't like Harleys and Corvettes. IMHO, they are complete junk. But people buy 'em! Good for them. Good for you. If we ever meet on the trail, guess what, we'll both be having fun and won't care what each other is riding.
What would you do with a plate of eggs in the woods?? After they've been 'eaten for lunch', they're no good for anything for 8 hours, then you can stink up someone's tent or shoe with them.

Irs true. Polaris riders are defensive. Its only because we have to deal with people constantly putting out machines down and calling them junk with nothing to support their OPINION other than their mother's father's uncle's brother' s friend who lived down the street from a guy who beat the heck out of his Polaris and never maintained it and it broke. So yeah, when people put our machines down and dont give them the credit that they deserve, them yes, we get defensive. And I would expect that out of ANY brand. I like what I ride and you like what you ride. You said it right there, thats all that matters. Happy trails and ride safe

Well this is a nice topic since I'm considering a 4X4 Scrammy over a V-force!!. I think the sportiness and power-to-weight, not to mention "true" 4 wheel drive played a big role in the Scrammy making the climb.
Of course, your wife's Uncle has probably made that climb hundreds of times before, so that is probably the main reason.....
