Default Pro Peg Nerfs

Hey Guys,
I am thinking about buying Some AC Raing Pro Peg Nerf Bars. Had a couple questions though.
I put my quad in my pickup to transport.

Will they hit the Wheel wells in my toyota pickup?

Also is there and drilling i would have to do?

Thanks in advance!

Steve

Thats a good questiom.I'm getting nerfs one day and that hasen't even crossed my mind.I also have a Toyota pickup preruner. The front wheels have to roll over the wheel wells to get to the front then she fits like a bug in a rug.I bet if I had nerfs they would hang up.Hmm

well quite simply the nerfs will stick out about as far as your wheels, if your having to lift your wheels over the inner wheel arch already because of the wheels chances are they are gona snag, the only way it wont is if the wheel arch is low, the nerfs are gona sit horizontaly at around the same level as your existing foot pegs so you need to measure the ground clearence between the floor and your pegs and then compare that to the height of the inner wheel arch,

if it not going to fit i would immagine the easiest way will be to add some lift would be to board out the truck bed to the same height as the wheel arch, or just board along the sides in line with the wheel arch so you still have pleanty of storage space if you do it this way you wouldnt even need to level the boarding off with the height of the wheel arches just raise it high enough to give enough clearence when the wheeler is sat in it,

hope this helps

hey rafiki try e-bay. lots of reputable sellers on there selling them below others cost. I got mine off of there. Just beware they are a pain in the **** to install and you do have to drill through the new pegs to bolt them on.

KILLEREX,
Thanks for the Info on the TOY. But the were hard to install? I am wondering if my money would be better spent on an Exhaust.
What do you guys think. Oh yeah and i forgot to mention i got a DG Baja Series Skid Plate to put on next weekend.
