I looked on the Suzuki site and all I could find was stuff on the RMZ450 too. I also did a search on Google because sometimes stuff from the media only section will have info on it, but all that had was stuff on the RMZ too.

I think they should just make a biger cylinder that will fit on the stock engine base of the 04 Z400.
Then you got 50 more cc's that arnt gona cause problems like big bore kits in the long run.
Ta da... a 450 with reverse and electric start. They would have to add a kickstart for back up though.

Yea,why wouldn't Suzuki do that? They could make and sell the cylinders and warenty them by Suzuki.I would get one the first day.
They could make an extra 500-600 bucks per atv that they have sold cause everybody would eventualy get one.
I guess they would rather make a new shape quad alltogether and call it the Suzuki 450.

Yes but it will still be heavy and have junk suspension. The 450 will surely be a serious race quad if they follow the trend. The Z400 is a far cry from the YFZ and TRX;I have spent alot on mine and it still doesn't run like the new 450's but will out handle them for sure. The question is .....Is it worth pouring thousands of dollars into the 400 or buy the new 450 which will be above and beyond the current offering?
