IT WOULD DEPEND ON TWO FACTORS WHAT TYPE OF RIDING, SAND, DIRT TRAILS, WHATEVER. THE OTHER FACTOR WOULD BE THE SIZE OF THE RIDER. THE BIKE WILL GO 40MPH WITH SOMEBODY THE RIGHT SIZE.

I rode an lt160 for about 7 years( 6' 185#) I would probably still be on one if they had front disc. My wife has an '01 model and won't even talk about trading for something else. AS for how fast they are, I'm not sure BUT I know that they would out run my '01 Lakota pretty badly when it was stock.

I bought an older 160 for my son last year. Just finished rebuilding the engine but I clocked him at 47 mPH, and he is over 130 lbs. This is a great machine that can keep up with much bigger bikes and will climb very well, however it is limited with the 2 wheel drive to go through mud, dep snow and slippery slopes, etc.
I would say the big issue with this older bike is the brakes which are not strong. Other than that it is a excellent little bike.

NO, THEIR EIGHT PADDLES, JUST NOT VERY TALL COMPARED TO A SAND SKATE2 OR A HAULER.

DRDAN, the 160 doesn't have a problem turning 8 paddles? And again, thanks for the info, I will definately be getting blaster wheels for it.

The 160 has enough power for a adult to ride, it might not be the speed demon that a lot of kids feel they need in comparison to a z400, 400x, rapter or banchee. But, it's a good size quad that a lot of adults can ride, especially if they are being introduced to quads. I know ours will be in the family for along time. I anticipate my grandchilden riding it, after my kids are done with it. Heck just to show my kids that our little Honda 70 can go places, the wife and I rode them out into the dunes at Pismo, we might of looked funny riding them, but we had fun and that's what we ride for

NO, IT TURNS THEM JUST FINE. NOW REMEMBER THE BLASTER WHEELS ARE CLOSE TO THE CORRECT BOLT PATTERN BUT NOT EXACT. YOU HAVE TO DRILL THEM OUT A BIT, BUT IT'S EASY AND IT WORKS JUST FINE.
