Well as most of you know when I rolled my Vinson It screwed up the plastic and the racks. Well I used the "PC Racing Plastic Renew" on the plastic and it is amazing. 2 thumbs up. anyway i was looking at getting my racks rhino lined with the black or the light grey lining. anyone tried this? its a Limited edition vinson and the racks are silver so I was looking at the light grey. (looks like silver)

Hercing the racks would probably work and look fine. I'd roll it so it has less texture, but it depends on how you want them to look. Make sure to get the UV protecting topcoat or it will dull in a few months.

 

I did it to my grizz, I just bought some black at walmart and sanded my racks, then aplied it according to the instructions. Great stuff.

I'm have mine mega-lined instead of rhino.

 

Have you thought about pulling them off and having them powdercoated? Extremely durable finish and looks great.
