z400 Jetting/cdi box ?

bv I was at a 142 and it was still occasionally pausing or cutting out at full throttle, so I went to a 145 and thought it was good then every once in awhile when racing up a hill with lots of whoops it would cut out. I wasn't sure if it was my jetting or not but I went ahead and changed to the 150 and now it hasn't cut out on me anymore. I know a pipe will need more fuel when I put one on my bike and I can't see going up one size to 155 being enough.

Well I'm not BV, but I know what he's talking about. Don't buy the DynoJet because you will most likely not use 1/2 of the jets in there. The needle is worth buying, but you can get an Alba needle if you'd like which is just as good. It's much cheaper to go out and buy a few Mikuni main jets for $2-3 a piece and tune from there. Also the #'s from the DynoJet don't perfectly equate over to Mikuni. There is a chart somewhere, but I can't remember. Do a search for Mikuni vs DynoJet and you'll probably find it.
