eiger transmision help

Default eiger transmision help

ok i have a 2004 manual transmision eiger.i have a bad 5th gear and im ready to replace it. i have the service manual for the eiger but it really isnt the best book for this sort of thing. is there any other books that are out there ? does anyone want to help guide me along? do i need to pull the motor or can i do it without pulling it? im at the point of haveing it all tore down but dont have any good plans as to what to do now! thanks guys name is mike!

I would think it would be easier to have the engine out of the Eiger and on a workbench. Wish I could help you more than that tho.

Id take it out also, I can't imagen it being to hard. Do you have the Suzuki shop manual?
