Default Blown rear shock on z400

Blew the rear stocker last fall and finally have some money to play with. I'm leaning towards elka, but don't exactly know how extreme I need to go. I don't race, but do get a little outta line out boondockin in the hills and gravel pits around here. I guess my biggest question is do I need a Rezzie, or will an upgradable version do fine where the stocker failed?

I considered works for the price alone, but never heard that many good things about them other than they're better than stock. That's not saying much, though. What about TCS?

I can tell you that ELKA makes some great shocks. They are expensive but definitely worth the money(These are what I am currently using on my quad . I have a Freshly rebuilt and revalved factory rear shock for sale if anyone is interested.....................

No they don't but, I can tell you that I had the 2 shafts on my front shocks start to show rust down around the snubbers after about 4 months. I called them, they paid to have them shipped to and from and I had them back in a week( no charge). It turned out to be defective plating on the shafts. I've had the new ones for about 8 months and they still look new. They definitely took care of me and would expect the same for anyone else...........

I have never heard anything bad about ELKA, performance or customer relations.
