guys just the piston doesent make much difference you have to make it breath also to get alot of power increase you need to put cams and carb on it also. then you need to step up witn an ignition. just putting a piston in the machine is hardly worth it. kfxcarnage call ct the 440 kit still puts out the most power of the big bores and is the most expensive of the kits just for your knoledge. The 470 kit is a torqe monster but it doesent rev out as well so the is your difference. the 450 yoshi kit is pretty impressive but anything more then that your losing to much in the side of the cylender. I checked with everyone when I did mine and talked to alot of people and found that the 440 was the best. also remeber hight compresion will also aid to your performance but then you may have to run racing fuel.

Good news, the guys at Crower racing are currently working on building CNC machine ported heads in combination with a new cam and highr comp piston (no boring or stroking necessary) that should be able to put the 450's in their place. Currently the project has undergone stage 1 on the porting process with a 12:1 piston, custom cam grind and a 38mm Lectron on race gas.
During the last test there was only a 400cc Alcolol drag Banshee it couldn't catch.....other 400 & 450's weren't close. That's the target, to surpass the cammed and piped YFZ 450 without even getting into the whole boring and re-nicking the jug.
Any questions, I'll try to answer as the process continues, but their hope is to offer a kit that will be much less than the current 440+ kits.
