Default 6'-5" Sport ATV

Hey guys,

I've been riding here in mid-Missour at Finger Lakes for about a year now on a friend's Ozark 250 and love it. I'm 6'-5", 180 lbs (yes, I'm as skinny as that sounds) which is probably a little large for an Ozark but I feel very comfortable on it. It's pretty easy to sling around. I'm looking to buy my own soon and am thinking a sport ATV would be the way to go. Not wanting to spend loads of money but still get a nice machince, I'm looking at either a Suzuki z250 or Honda 250ex and was wondering if I would be too big for either one. I'm assuming since I'm a lightweight I'd be fine and that my height really won't matter too much. Thanks.

Duder.

Best way to find out, go to a dealer and sit on one. If they wont let you sit on the machine you intend to buy then they dont deserve the business!

Both of those are good machines. I just bought a Z250 this weekend. It is mainly going to be for the wife and my son. It feels small to me, but I am also used to my Z400. I am 6'3 and about 215 lbs.

If you want a big, inexpensive, entry-level quad check out the Polaris Trailblazer. I'm 6'3" and 250#'s and I'm wicked comfy all day long. It could use more power for sure, but good mods are fairly cheap, also....I paid $3200 OTD for a new 04.

Hey I am also 6'5" but weigh in at 225. Just a tad more than you. A 250 4-stroker would definitely not be enough for me even though I ride a 250 2-stroker. If I were you I would buy a mimimum of a ex300 or you will grow out of it very quick and be wishin for a faster ride. Check the warrior or the ex300. Lots of other bikes out there for you though. If you want a sportier bike check out a 2-stroker though since it sounds like you have a little experience. You can pick up a used quadracer for about $1500 and kick all over almost any 4-stroker. Even bone stock. Whatever you are comfortable on though. Seriously I am thinking about a 4-stroke 400 or 450 myself.
