Default '04 Vinson LE or '04 Prairie 700

I'm in the market for a new utility quad......I guess you can tell by my SN I'm really into Kawie's I'm very brand loyal Chevy trucks and Kawie bikes lol....anyways I've had my heart set on the Prairie 700 I've found a really good deal on on it's brand new 2004 for $6999 OTD........well today me and a friend went around to a couple od dearlerships looking at bikes this one dealership sells both Suzuki and Kawasaki they didn't have any Prairie's there but they did have a Twin Peaks 700 in Blue (loved the color the blue looked really nice) anyways the price on that was $7000 + tax then they had a 2004 Vinson LE I really liked the way this bike looked it just looks mean.....it feels bigger than the Twin Peaks....The price on the Vinson LE was $6299 + tax......Personally I like the Vinson better purely based on looks it just looks better than the Prairie I think..........but the main thing that's pulling to the Kawie is that the Kawie has that front diff. lock.......I used to own a Prairie 360 4x4 which also has the diff. lock and I've seen how big of a difference that makes.....that praire went through stuff a lot easier than my buddies Arctic Cat 400 4x4......and the Arctic Cat had IRS......This was through rock gardens and mud the pairie kicked it's but.....I mean what's the point in having 4wd when one side of the bike is up in the air and the only tires turning up front is the one that's not touching the ground??? So come on Vinson Owners talk me into!!!!
Also posting this message in the Kawie forum too.

Get the Twin Peaks OTD for the same as the Prairie. They are the same bike but I agree on the Suzuki looking better.

Take the quote and make the dealer do the same price OTD.

I went to a dealer about 25 miles away to ride and purchase an 04 Vinson LE instead of the grizzly and hondas that I had been looking at. It felt top heavy like the grizzly, only without irs. Power was good, but not great. It was an auto model. The dealer pulled out a zuki twinpeaks for me to ride too. It was more planted, had just as much ground clearance, and gobs more power. My mind was made up. Now they couldnt get a blue one in, so I got a red prairie. But I never regret my decision.

I got the p for 6400otd no tax, quoted 5900 otd no tax for the vinson le.

i would just get a getroit gearless locker, they are far better than a tradtional locker, the wear on parts is no existant, and there is no wheel hop like on the non auto locking bikes, the locker on the frount, also seems toi transfer power on a steep hill while in 4x4, this is a great advantage, so if one wheel is going to fast, and the other is skidding it will controll the bikes path. and belive me when in the mud or rock crawling, it shines just to play around with other guys with no locker some times i will do a one wheel crawl making sure 1 wheel is in the air, but demonstrateing that the other wheel is pulling the bike foward, you can just basically pull up to a rock, any one, and you can crawl over it.

Also how fast will the Vinson run? Will it be able to keep up or beat my buddies Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Manual?

I have been happy with my vinson so far. It's usualy covered in mud,and I won't be "posing" with it-so I opted for the plain old green one. I know a guy who has the Prairie, and he is very happy with it. You probably couln't go wrong with either choice.
