ok well big deal a zilla can beat a yfz in a straight line put some jumps tight corners and all the fun stuff, you know not just going straight and see who wins
when me and my friends go out riding and one of my friends rides the raptor they think they are tough $hit because they can go faster than everyone in a straight line but when we get to the woods i have to slow down and wait for them if it's really technical trails

When it comes to speed and raw power, the straight-shot drag is where to find this stuff. After all, you don't see Funny cars racing on Baja tracks, do ya?

LT500s were not made just for drag racing. They can go anywhere an YFZ can go it just requires a little more skill. Unfortunately for some that is one thing money can't buy and is not included with the purchase of whatever happens to be the latest coolguy quad on the market at the time.

Next race there, much smaller track this time. One yfz shows up, a new one. Young kid about 17. Kid finishes 10 lap feature over a 1/2 lap ahead of the zilla.
My headbolts busted that race, so I got to see the end. The zilla is a monster, but the yfz came to play.

Mud???????? Trails??????? Whoops?????? What the hell are those?? Quads are ment to be ridden in straight lines, used for hillclimbs, wheelies, and for cutting bad-*** donuts.
Its all in what you like, Im not saying that straight line performance is the entire world of quads, but it is in my world.
Besides, who wants to take a quad with 70hp, +4 swingarm and no fenders through the woods anyhow?
