well first of all does it got 5 gears or six or when u look on the kicker side of the head is their a clear window that will give you idea 85'-86 have 5 gears not six and they also dont have powervalve so no window also does your pie come out of the middle of head or out more towards the side more towards the side beig a 85 or 86 .if has 6 gears a power valve and pipes out middle will mean its a 87-92 also 85 and 86 front motor mount mounts to a single pipe of frame vs 87-92 has them mounted to a wish bone allowing pipe come off the head in center hope that helps as for size it should say the cc on side of motor later

Well it has six gears and a powervalve. but the frame is a 86 thats what the stick said. The reason why I had the qustion is that it has 6 gears. I own three quads. and this own is a miss match quad. has all different year parts in it Im taking a guess. well thanks guys.

ok it has 6 gears u say and powervalve with an 86 frame i also have a 1990 motor in 86 frame but had whack the center frame tube out and make duplicate wishbone like my 87 has seeings the exhaust port is directly in center of head directly inline with the post of frame on 86 ,is yours whacked out too?if not how heck they get theexaust threw the front frame post? as matter of fact the motor sat different to where i couldnt put it in place it was hitting the post lol just curious.....
