Default Wiesco 440 kit

im planning on boring out the Z soon but dont got that much cash to spend in the process. i saw Wiesco's kit and its not much money at all, jsut wondering what kind of gains i should expect out of it. thanks

your not going to gain alot from just a piston. you need to make the motor breath to get power. you want gains buy cams, work the head and put a carb on it as well as a pipe, and ignition.

Well said, just because you have a 440 doesnt mean that its fast.

i would say save and get a really good kit you wont regret it

alright, the Z is stock so what do you recommend gettin to get a lot of gains. im thinking of full LRD exhaust system, K&N airfilter, hotcam exhaust and intake cam, rejet. anything else?

Why is that??? Which kit are you talking about??? Hell, for the price you pay for a "good kit" (around $2000), I could have a MUCH faster quad. Yoshi is a great kit, but expect to pay around $2300 and NO FCR carb! You can buy the Wiseco, and with installation, be around $400. That leaves plenty of room for cams, carb, igniton, head work, etc etc. Don't listen to people who simply regurgitate what they hear from their school buddies, its a great kit, and very reliable to boot.

yeah i think im guna go ahead and get the kit, along with a pipe, K&N, hotcam and rejetting, i should get sum big gains then

Just the piston is not going to do alot you need to get cams, carb, ignition, maybe head work if you perfer to make the thing go real good. People dont understand that just adding displacement does very little, its alowing the motor to let the air in and out that makes power.
