Is your quad really that fast

yeah dudzilla, Does yours always run? The reason I say that is I have NEVER seen one run right. Not that I see alot of them. But at the dunes I always think I'll get to see the king in action, and everytime these guys spend all day in the parking lot working on them. To be honest I always wanted to race one. Though I doubt I ever find one with just a slip-on pipe like me.
As for the people that know everything. I know what you mean. It was like that when I had my modded 5.0 & even my slightly modded 93 Probe GT (yes, that car was really quick believe it or not). When you race those type of people you never win. If you lose you lose & if you win they have an excuse why and make you feel as if it shouldn't be a win.
As far as the TB it's a good bike, but easy to outgrow. The 400L is kinda powerful. But if you are only going 30mph what the heck. That's like all the talk about racing quads is fine but once in the trails a Raptor/DS/Predator etc. becomes pretty equal to a TB/300EX size quad. (Unless your Doug Gust). Closely spaced trees & turns have a way of bunching quads up. The best part about having a TB is mine was 100% reliable & almost anyone can enjoy riding a quad by learning on it.

well, even though my 87' is far from stock "I mean far" I have tested my mph by three differant methods. paceing next to a 954r "96mph". resently calibrated radar gun "98 mph" and 94mph on the dyno
all with 12/39 gearing
all with 12/39 gearing

2 Tecates !!!!! You are 2 lucky.
I told my wife I was buying one since the DS is paid for. I've been obsessed with them since I was 13 & riding my TRX 125
What is it they say? "If it ain't green it ain't mean & better dead than red."
