i just had some wierd idea pop into my head so i shot over here to see what everybody thought. i was thinking, LT250r a-arms on an lt230? or maybe some other type of longer a-arms on it? i know it's popular with honda's and stuff, j/w if u think it's possible? like if u had any measurments or sumpthin

The upper A-arm is 10 1/8 inches wide. The lower A-arm is 9 3/4 inches wide. It is 2 1/8 inches wide from bushing to bushing at all four places where the A-arms bolt on. Each bushing is 1/4 inch wide. Hope this helps.

Sorry Quaddude but you're not making any sense. Not to **** you off but the measurements you're asking for will only be as good as the person doing the measuring. People do measure differently. Take the tubing for the A-arm for instance. To measure the distance from the front tube to the back tube, do you measure from center to center, outside to outside, outside to inside or inside to inside? It really doesn't matter if you know what you want as the end result. The problem lies in how the information is interpreted by the second party. In this case, that's you.
Why don't you try something a little simpler? Go down to your nearby dealer with a tape measure, paper and pencil. Draw what you want, check deminsions against the equipment on the dealer's floor, draw your witness and deminsion lines there, so you know what you did. That's going to make you more confident with the information you're getting. Did that help any? Hope so...
