Default Z400 Header pipe

Hey,

A buddy of mine has a Z400 and he is looking at purchasing the Pro Circuit T-4 exhaust. Will the silencer alone be sufficent or does he need the complete system? What I am asking is it worth it to switch the header pipe? Anyone running a pro-circuit?

Thanks

From what I hear the PC slip-on is one of the better systems but the head pipe is a wast of money. Its something like a .01 HP gain at 9500RPM or something like that for $170. I would just get the slip-on.

Does the HMF perform as well as the Pro Circuit.

I saw a pipe shootout in DirtWheels Mag for the Z, a while back. Go to the site and search for it. It gave the HP gains for about a dozen popular head pipes and slip-ons along with the db level. Lots of good info.

I have a full Pro Circuit T-4 system,K&N,no airbox lid.It really made a nice difference.Alot of bottom end.
I'm really happy with it.It was a bit of a pain getting the header on though.I'd recommend it to anyone.
