plastic
#3
Thats a good question. With all the plastic on cars now days, I'll bet you could find products at an "automotive paint supply" shop. I'm sure it would be sand, prime, topcoat process. I would think a good two part automotive primer/paint would be the way to go. Krylon makes a paint-I think its called "fusion" or something that is suposed to stick to plastic. I personaly would stay away from it. I am just starting to get into the automotive end of painting, after being a residential\commercial painter for twenty years. Lots of cool products out to play with. I think you could pretty much paint anything with the right prep and product. If you do it,leave a post as to what you use and how you did it-and how it turns out

just from experience do not use fusion it is terrible ...but if you really want to do it w/o alot of $$ involved primer and paint works ok....but dont expect it to last forever the cracking isnt really the issue it seems to be the scraping and chipping....but either way good luck
