Default z400 jetting/hotcam install

I just got my hotcam put in and now i'm getting it jetted. I am getting close to having it perfect now. Right now I have 147.5 main, 27 pilot, and alba needle on the 3rd clip down from the top. Low end it runs good but mid to top it seems kind of flat like there's nothing there. I pulled the plug and it is white. Also I am runng the next cooler plug than stock. I was thinking of moving the needle down to the 4th clip from the top and putting a 150 main in.

Does this sound about right?

For those of wondering about the cam it made a big differance on the low end, but I think I have to jet up for the mid to top end a little yet, but it still goes pretty good. It is a good mod for what it cost I think.

Sounds like it's running rich. Your heading in the right direction with your jetting. Good luck.

I had the intake and exhaust hotcams installed on my quad and the only thing it did was make my quad ~ucking slower. How do they feel on your quad? please explain.
