After being beat to death on his 92' 250x, my Father-inlaw is in search of something that has a good plush ride for trail riding. We like to carry a good pace, and he has narrowed it down to two machines. Hes interested in either a Z400, or a Preddy. Power is a plus for the predator, and reverse is a nice feature for the Z, but hes most interested in getting the plushest ride. Have any of ya'll rode both? Can anyone give a honest(read: non-biased) opinion of either one? I have heard that the Z was a very comfy setup for out on the trails, wanted some opinions from people that actually have one, or better yet BOTH. We have a Z400 and a 400ex. The Z has a very comfy seat, as well as reverse. My boyfriend can't get enough of the Z seat. He's trying to figure out how to make his 400ex seat like it. You should go to the dealership and sit on them. I really love my Z, wouldn't trade it for anything.
