I can only speak of what it's like to see one run, and not about what it's like to ride one.
People from the west have no idea what it's like to run one where the east coast riders live,
because they do most if not all their riding in the dunes.
But it's alot different here in the east, it's like riding in a maze of trees, dirt roads, etc.
those machines are incredibly fast , for those kinds of conditions !!!
You've got more horses than you do space to let them run wild, that to me is what makes them so
awesome to ride around the east coast the power is phenomenol ! My old friend had both LT's
kickin around at the same time and he always LOVED the rush he got from the ZILLA
hands down from the 250. I think you tend to appreciate it more livin here rather then
ridin in the dunes, it's all wide open and your not being challenged with HP'S like you do here.
I just got one and when I get the cylinder fixed I will be able to tell you lots more about ridin one!!
Hope I did'nt offend anyone out west, sorry if I did though.

Let me tell you i used to race back in 85 through 87 and I remember riding the zilla back then. I rode a 87 lt250r then i had to grow up and get to work so now that i can relax a bit i decided to get me a new quad after much research i thought about the new yfz but after alot of checking there is in my oppinion you cant beat the zilla. That is what i bought an 87 lt500r with a fmf pipe and silencer there is nothing like having all the power you could ever want my buddy has a banshee bored 60 over with a complete rebuild my zilla says not a chance the only problem the zilla has a wide frame from the aarm. this Causes a little handling problem but the power more than makes up for it.I dont know about yours but mine will stand up in third gear you should love it but respect the throttle and pic your line well.......

i have them flown over with fedex, its about twice the cost of a boat but i was advised by several people not to go by boat if youve got the cash handy for a flight,

choices are 48 hour guaranteed or 3-5 day should have cost 1450 quid for the zilla because its based on dimensions of the crate not just the weight, its best to have them disasembled and packed into a purpose built crate so you can get the dimensions down if poss,

the 1450 included flight vat and duty,

gona be grass tracking in chesire soon i hope, first meet is next sunday but the zilla s not ready so im gona go and have a look.

nice to see some more international members, make sure you stick around theres a wealth of info on here for the zilla, and if your thinking of tuning it have a look on macdizzy.com
