yeh that would look better.iv seen a yellow motor and looked stupid.do the frame yellow and keep motor blue.you could do a combo like have a yellow head on a blue motor or whatnot.just some ideas

I think white would show the dirt too much. I would go with something bright, but not too light. But make sure it goes with the rest of the quad. You don't want a bright blue engine with orange plastic, lol. Good luck and make sure you post pics when you're done!

 

my engine is red , with a blue frame , white a-arms , and grab bar, so its red ,white , and blue but the yellow plastic really throws it of ( it was like that when i got it. )

 

paint it brown. look at the bright side, never see the dirt.
nah j/k i would paint it blue or yellow, yellow would look hot with a blue frame and chrome all around.... oh yea.

 

Black engine with silver frame and black plastic.

 

I've got my TRX250R looking sinister! It has a red powdercoated frame, black powdercoated a-arms, and black plastics. I left my engine the stock color (I don't even think the engines were painted in '86----it just looks like bare aluminum and magnesium) and my swingarm is aluminum so those two tie into together. I have been wanting to set up a picture page but I can't figure out how to make my damn pics small enough to be accepted by the system!

Id go with the neon orange, with a neon green frame. just thought it would look cool. get silver plastics. who knows this could look like crap but i just thought i would throw it out there.
