Default 88 quadracer broken rear chain tension bolt

OK, i bought the quad about 2 months ago, nothing wrong with it I came back from riding yesterday and i noticed my chain had lost all tension, i looked and saw that the rear axle carrier had move all the way forward and the ends of the two tensioning bolts were broken. Can I remove those bolts some how, there appears to be no place to unscrew them. Thanks

when me and my dad removed them, we took 2 nuts and screwed them on the stud. We tightened them together so that they would not move and just put a wrench on the lower nut and back the stud out. He said there is a tool for doing it, but that is an easy way to do it.

Actually neither of them are threaded. The left on is fortunately sticking out but strangely it has no threading, and the right one is stuck in the hole. What should i do?

I mean the right one is broken off down in the hole, and is it normal for the bolts to not be completely threaded?

They should just screw in I have one on my Zilla that had broke,it was replaced with a 3/8 stud and nut, worked great.you may have to have them removed from a shop if you cant get them out,but they are threaded in.
