King Quad or Twinpeaks?

I may buy another ATV and want to know what you think. Do you Suzuki owners think the King Quad will top the Twinpeaks machine? Yes it may be a "Real" Suzuki machine but will it out perform the top machine now?

There's no way to answer that until the new KQ comes out in a few months. Just guessing from what we've heard, I feel that the Kawi V-twin engine will be hard to beat although maybe a big single 700 will do better on gas milage. The other main difference will be in the rear suspension - sporty solid axle for the TwinPeaks and the IRS for the KQ. All other features and specs look similar. Price could also be a big factor in choosing between these two.

I too believe that 700 Kawi V-Twin is going to be very tough to beat on performance. If anything, they should hope for close to the same power, but hope to appeal to more riders with IRS and EFI. Also, the vibration from a 700 single has got to be pretty annoying, wouldn't it?

I just got my 700 kawi and to be honest i was a little dissapointed at first.
I just got it back from the first service, had the belt deflection adjusted, installed a highlifter ignition module, and jetted it and now all i can say is wow!!!
I lent my buddy my wifes banshee (she's pregnant, can't ride for awhile) and lined them up. I was able to stay with that banshee till about 90 km/hr (55 mph). Not to mention i have 26's on the prairie!!
personally, i owned a grizzly and would not go back to independant suspension over a solid axle. Way sportier ride with the kawi..alot more fun and just as good in the rough stuff and mud.
Buy the twin peaks man....the motor alone is reason
