Default lt 230 help!!!!!!!!!!

My Lt230 ran out of gas on me so i put gas in a tank into it come to find out it was 1 year old. It would not start for more than 3 seconds but i did not have time to drain it out the gas stayed in there for less than a day before i drained it, then i put new gas in it, it will start and idle for 2-3 minutes but as soon as i give it gas it stalls out i mean any gas. No my air filter isnt clogged i checked that and the airbox boot. any ideas?

Default lt 230 help!!!!!!!!!!

make sure that old crappy "laqure gas" didnt clog the carb, and if you have a fuel filter clean/replace it.

i would just try taking it for a spin, and revving it, to try and clean her out. bad gas is sometimes easily removed with good o'l speed

Drain the float bowl with the screw on the bottom of the carb and run some straight carb cleaner into the empty gas tank. Crank the bike and open and close the throttle a few times. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Then drain out the carb cleaner and put in some fresh gas. This should clear it up. If not it may be time to pull the carb and manually clean it.
