Default Exhaust baffle..

If I remove the baffle on my Z250, will I be able to get it back in?
-Please dont give me that 'makes people angry' 'gets us in trouble with the law' crap, because I live out in the middle of no where, so it doesnt matter.
also, without the baffle, is the exhaust still providing enough backpressure?

Does the pipe provide enough backpressure without the baffle in? I took it out today for a few minutes, I love the deeper sound it has, its not really much louder. Am I harming the engine if I leave it out?

I have done that for the passed 4 rides or so and the only difference in the way it runs is I think it has more on top but it might be in my head. I do enjoy the sound makes it sound like a 400!

off topic but, how do you guys like your 250s? i want to get a new bike, and dont want to spend a fortune... i am thinking of selling my rm250, because it really is a track bike, and not a woods bike, hows the z in jumping, and handleing, also are there any bore kits for it? how would it compare to a lt230s

I dont think that you would like it much I love mine and can keep up with anybody. I jump it and it is well mannered. Has enough power to have fun and stay in control. My neighbor is like 36,rides on YZ250 in the pro class and he absolutly loves it. so just have to try it out some how.

nah the lt230 was a 4 stroke, and i have heard the z is better in every way. i am not sure if i would like it? im 6'0ft tall mabey to big for it? i love my rm, but it is far to fast for my tight woods, i just want something to wheelie, and jump, and tool around on, all after i sell my rm of corse. also who makes that manual clutch for it?
