I pulled the carb completely 100% apart before I even posted this. The information above was pretty much what I was looking for though. I am familiar with the SU carbs found on datsuns and this Mikuni is very similar. I just did not know how to ajust the two mixtures. I did not know the main needle had different positions.

However mine is now rinning just about perfect. I am in need of a new choke cable so it is a bit hard to start right off the bat but now it will fire up and idle just about perfect. I am 3.5 turn out on the idle needle. I think it is still Just a tad lean and I will check the egt's to be sure.

On a side note...Does the LT4wd hav ean oil cooler? There are high pressure lines at the front of the bike but it apears they are just looped. I am thinking the last owner had a leak he did not want to fix?
