Ok, I've heard many things on this forum, so i want some opinions. What are the best mods for my '03 ltz 400? I like to trail ride alot, along with some dunes. I would like to get some more top end so I can hang with the Pred and Banshees I ride with a little better (I know I'm never going to beat the Banshee, but I would love to smoke the Pred).

So if I have a choice of:

1. slip on pipe
2. full pipe
3. new carb
4. new cdi

what combination would you recommend?

 

I'd get whatever you can afford! LOL

 

I would go with a pipe and jet kit first. That's where you'll see the most gain.

 

the only way you will hang with a banshee is to get the big bore 453 and that is with a pipe,k&n,cool head
but with a bone stock shee all you need is a full pipe and a k&n that with a bone stock shee no pipes,filter or anything else
