Default Ordered new handlebars for the Z250

I ordered the Moose Hi bend bars for the Z250 today, and some new grips (Factory 909). I got the bars in yellow and the grips are black and silver, should look OK. Anyway, is there anything I should know about mounting them?

The little rubber things that connect to your (N) light and (R) light are a pain in the ****.....The 2 clips that hold the plastic center piece on....I broke one.... Ended up just puttin on some nice thick black zip ties to hold it on.

dude push the centers of the two plastic peices that hold it on in and just pull them out then once the whole button is out pull the center peice of the button all the way thru and then when u go to reinstall them just plug them in and they snap right in. Perwho I felt ur frustration. I got so p/oed at that thing untill I figured it out. You will also have to drill a whole on the new bars to mount the headlight swith assembly so the choke can be activated. Use hair spray for grip glue it works perfect. Check your throttle cable play too because the moose bars are wider they stretch the throttle cable a bit so check it.

I ordered them from motorcycle-superstore.com, because thats the only place I could find yellow ones. I usually order everything from Rockymountain or DennesKirk, but like I said they didn't have the yellow ones or the grips I wanted. This place also did 2-day fedex for $10, I thought that was a pretty good deal. So, how do you adjust the throttle cable? Is it adjustable up on the bars or down by the carb?

All I did was loosen the bars so I could slide them back and forth from left to right and then .....loosened the clamps of each lever and throttle, ETC. and slid them off as a whole. I didn't adjust anything, or drill anything like that. Put em' right back on as is...it's fine!
