I had my lid on and used a 165 Jet...worked great.

Is the 162.5 Jet the way to go with K&N and no lid w/ the CT pipe?

i have hmf slip on z400 have 165 jino jet in it now with no lid it will not runn with lid on might tri 170 mj cant seem to get it right?

 

when u take the lid off ur gonna need to go richer

With the 162.5....if I put the lid on it doesnt run right at all.

With a 165 jet with the lid on it runs great.

My question is: I dont have the K&N on yet. With the lid off and 162.5, the bike bogs slightly at high RPM racing it around. With the K&N mounted will it make enough difference that it wont bog anymore?

New to jetting.
The larger number means more fuel, which means richer. I suggest getting someone to do it for you.
