Default powder coat or paint

How well does powder coat hold up??? Does it wear off?? How much does it cost to normally. I cant see paint lasting more than a couple of rides.

Have it powdercoated. I just did the same research. I had a local place dip my frame, hubs, handlebars, and all kinds of other parts to strip them, for $50. Powdercoating will cost you a few hundred dollars altogether, but well worth it in the long run. And how many times do you wanna strip your quad down really? Do a search in the forums here on powdercoating. You'll find lots of info!

if you can afford it go with powder coating but if you want to go the cheaper way you can do like a three layer paint job like they do on cars. base coat, main coat, clear coat

hope it helps
