I just got my new HMF pipe installed this weekend.I took it riding for a couple hours and it was great.Nice and Loud.Deep sound too.I did see power gains as well.Rearend slides easier and i can get the front end up easier. I do notice that at 3/4 throttle it sputters a little but i will change the main jet to fix that. Just thought i would let people know.

 

That's cool. I really like the HMF pipe, but I'm worried it's too loud for certain places I go. Especially Silver Lake.

I'm going to buy a White Bros E-Series full exhaust system for mine. My brother's girlfriend got just a slipon and was jetted, and in all honesty, it was a whole new bike. The airbox lid was taken off, and man...it's just a crazy bike. I love it! I'll have the head pipe on mine too so i can't wait to see what it will be like...

But yeah, some people say you don't have to rejet for just a slipon. But if you don't, it's really not even worth it.

BTW, the red pipe looks awesome.

 

HMF says a 170 for the main with there slip on.I have the full system with a 175 main and its perfect.
Of course theres some peeps that are like lol 170-175 main way to big but if HMF says 170 or 175 then I'm going with HMF says.

On a side note,on HMF's site they sell a Hunter Quiet Core that fits in the HMF pipe for $35 and it comes with a spark arrestor.
I went ahead and got it.I tryed it out couple days ago and it didnt do much of a difference in making it quieter.I was gona try and ride at night around a subdivision is why.Except for that I'm loud and proud.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
