here you go

1. they changed the rear brake pads every year pain in tho a$$- i have ridden 02-04s and they all stop awesom
2. 2004 has a digital fuel gauge- my 02's regular one has seemed to be dead accurate- preferance i guess
3. exhaust changed a little from the can with the three bolts for the arrestor, and the jagged edge, to the output hole that is a more refined welded look, they have no proformance difference. heck put a hmf pipe on it.
4. thats it! hope i helped

no they dont use a digital guage. The only real difference is the 04 is prewired for a winch

ya wanna bet they use a digital fuel gauge- renderend the problem with the fuel tank moving under the plastic, look at any dw atv action review, or go to see a new one, and they have it. second wired for a winch, i would like to know where it says that?
