Default Leaded Gas?

I think that just about everyone that I have talked to say that leaded gas is good for and motors valve seats whether they are hardenned or not but on atvconnection.com under tech tips it say not to ever use leaded gas in our quads and they have a picture of a piston with a ton of carbon buildup but it was out of a farm machine or something and had been using leaded gas for 3 years so whats the thoughts on this...?

Default Leaded Gas?

As far as I know, its been illegal to either buy or sell leaded gas since 1973. So you must be talking about a lead substitute, in the gas.
Any motor made after 1971, will run just fine on todays gas. Olders motors will be fine as well, provided they dont do any real hard work, such as pulling trailers and drag racing. It wont harm the motor to add the lead substitute if you want to, but you wont notice any difference except in your wallet.
