I have my stock carb laying around and my friend has got a Z400 with only a pipe..has anyone tried this carb on their z400/Kfx.

 

what size carb does the predator have? And do you like your edelbrock?

the stock carb is 42mm. I really like my edelbrock very easy to get the jetting right and better throttle response. The trails here in wisconsin are really muddy and wet alot of the time so i run with my airbox then but when i go drag racing im going to put my clamp-on on and just right down the number of clicks for each one so i can have perfect jetting and run both setups pretty easily.....

 

A member on another web site Z 400 C has one on his 400 and he enjoys it. Claims it pulls like mad on top end.

On the edelbrock carb there is a thing you turn to make it richer or leaner and you can just keep track of how many clicks you are for each set-up and can just go baqck to that amount when i put my air box on to go riding or my clamp-on to go drag racing..

 

Is that click for the air/fuel raito or is that for the main jet setting.

 

The one im talking about makes it richer or leaner.
