Default problem with idle

The strange contractions in your post make it hard to read. Why not just type what you want to say?
I don't know what you mean by 'stuck a nail in the fuel line.' Did he restrict the gas flow by partially blocking the line? Not a winner for a long term fix.
Failure to idle often is a result of a bit of debris in the idle jet. It is such a tiny orfice that it takes very little to gunk it up.
If it is flooding out then that means that the carb floats and/or needle seat are not working properly or are worn. Sounds like the carb needs cleaning.
The super low range is for very rough terrain, where it is very handy and not too slow at all for those places. You don't need it for riding on your old railbed.

it's geting too mutch gas the orfis is clean did that a cuple weeks ago.
and for the nail we anhookd the fuel line from the valve put a nail that was a little smaller then the line so it only let a small amount of gas thru.
all i need too know is why it's floding out.

If you put the choke to full on...will it idle then? Will it run ok at 1/4 throttle? Does gas leak out of the overflow tube at the bottom of the carb?

are you sure the idle screw on the side fof the carb is in enough? If you start it and play around with that screw, it might fix it, or if in case you do have that screw in? putting a nail in the line is just gonna put rust into your carb, and your engine, i would find a way to fix it for good =)

For a quicker temp. fix, pinch the line with a hose clamp...dont go sticking nails in it

the nail wont rust cause it's aluminum.
and it's not perminent, it's just until i run it out of gas so we can take the fuel velve off and look @ it.
