Default Eiger Died

My Eieger died tonight. Been out riding all afternoon, picked up some sputter (cutting in and out) around 25mph in third gear, but opened up well. Did not see a real good flow of fuel through the filter so I replaced it, fuel flow better after that. Had it running and it just died (sounded like it backfired a little prior to). Spins, has spark and fuel flow, but wont start. Any ideas?

a friend had this happen to his auto eiger. it was something to do with a weak spark and a bad plug he was riding it in the snow all day too. did u try lookin at yyour plug

id bet just about anything that u have a ngk plug. u fouled it out and once an ngk is fouled out theres no cleaning it or anything. u may have spark, its just ngk they wont work after being fouled.

i fouled the NGK on my rm one time, and vinson, and i cleaned it with sandpaper and gas, the time with my vinson, i got icey mud water in the motor, i really wonder how long this things gonna last

i had the same problem with my Z250. Try Changing the plug, and cleaning the air filter

it's in sullivan county, which is right by orange county. If you know where middletown is, bloomingburgs about 10 minutes away

Sounds like it went lean before shutting off. Id think the jets may be plugged. Drop the float bowl, and check for crud in there. If you find stuff in the bowl, you can assume the carb sucked it up into the pasages too.

Thanks for all the info everyone.

Have changed the plug and tried to start it with and without the filter in place. No go.
Gonna drop it off an have the carb and other stuff checked out. Well see what happens. If anyone else has any ideas I am open to suggestions. I still has the stock jet in it, should I put in a new one, if so what size. I am not looking to do a lot of mods on the machine.
