suzuki 450?

When dirtwheels did that shoot out, THe only engine upgrade they did was a bigger piston. However, they did hang a bunch of crap on there they didn't need, nerf's, extra lights, etc. The z already weighs 20# more than a yfz w/o all that extra stuff. And you're talking about boring the 450, there's already a 470 kit for the z, but that puts you in the open class. I wish duncan made a 449 kit.

yeah i cant wait to see these quads either, but the problem is by the end of this summer i am planning on buying a yfz. Now its not that im worried that when one of these new quads come out that its gonna be "faster" then the yfz but if suzuki had a 450 out right now and it was as close of a competetion like the trx and the yfz i would have the z450. I also heard some rumors of yamaha making the yfz a true 450 in the near future in stead of a 439cc or what ever it is...This sounds like tottal crap but i read alot of mags and they said that, but what ever...the point is that if your spending this much cash for a quad (my local dealership wants 7,200 for a yfz, ill get him down to 6.900) you want something thats gonna be "the quad" for a few years... Do you think i should hold out alittle longer or go ahead and buy myself the yfz?...no chance im waiting 2 years but if they release some info about it, i might be able to hold out for 2 more model years
