This question has probably been asked before...but I just bought a '92 LT 250r and was wondering what the consensus is on the best pipe. The bike has a FMF silencer on it, so I'm inclined to match it with the FMF pipe, but I wonder what difference it would make to mismatch the pipe/silencer combo.

Thanks
Steve

it makes no difference to mix match pipes and silencers. I have a Bills Pipe and a Graydon silencer. Great pipe, just a little to top end for me, I used to have a FMF on my old lt, and loved that pipe, had torque to spare. I always here good things about Paul Turner pipes and the LRD adjustable.

If anyone out there has a LRD adjustable, I would like to know how it works. Does the adjustments work or is it just a good pipe?

I have the LRD adjustable, its nuts how much of an adjustment you can make on that thing. Its a great pipe, and adjusts great too!

How many jet sizes did you go up for the pipe? I'm ordering a pipe and a Twin Air filter today...I need to go buy some jets. I'm at a 240 now and I would think I need to move up at least to a 260, especially if I run with no airbox lid.
What do you think?
