hi rit now im confused on a choice i have to make as of rit now i am 14 160lbs and 5'11" i own a 1987 quadsport lt 230 bored to a 250 with a cobra exahust jetted nerf bars performance air filter 22inch mud tires 13 41 gearing and i like the machine .....well kinda i mean its and 87 and its not really what i wanted becuz i wanted sumthing i could race my friends in and win alot u all no what i mean for the bragging rights well i bought it for 1300 and im thinking about selling it becuz i have 800 saved up and even after i put that into my quad its still got going to be what i want or fast enuff becuz my friends have 400's and 450's except i friend has a extremly moddified rm 85 which he races sooo i want to sell my quad keep savin my money and buy a used banshee but my dad is telling me i should stay with what i have now becuz its a 4 stroke and i mainly ride trails with some open areas and the banshee is a 2 stroke ment for wide open but i told him if i just drop down 1 or 2 tooth on the front gearing i might have enuff low end power for trails sooo what do u guyz think shoulg i stay with the quad i have now or save for a banshee??? thanks

 

look for a used 400ex or z400 becuz it will compete with your friends and still be good for trail riding.
if you must BEAT your friends then go with the banshee
get rid of the quadsport now before it has no value
